ABOUT US
Druk Education Consultancy and Placement Firm (Druk ECPF) is a student recruitment and placement firm based in Thimphu, Bhutan. Druk ECPF is a licensed business entity, operating under License No. 1041487, issued by the Ministry of Economic Affairs. We are regulated by the Department of Adult and Higher Education of the Ministry of Education. Druk ECPF is supported by a highly experienced adviser who has 20 years of experience in human resource development and scholarship management.
Promoter
Druk ECPF is founded and managed by Ugyen Lham (Ms). She has more than 20 years of professional experience, working in Bhutan's development sector, and 
has carried out extensive consulting assignments for The World Bank, IFC, ADB, EU, UNDP, JICA, SNV, EU, AusAID, Danida, and the Royal Government of Bhutan. Ugyen Lham has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Delhi University, a Master of Business Administration from The Australian National University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Appraisal and Management from the Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands. She has not only studied and lived in Canberra, Australia for two years but she has worked with highly reputed Australian companies such as Coffey International Development and Scope Global, international companies based in Adelaide, South Australia. Ugyen has worked with the Queensland University of Technology, UniQuest Pty Limited and Sunshine Coast Institute of TAFE. She has travelled to various Australian cities such as Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Sydney, and Wollongong. Ugyen’s personal experience makes it possible for her to better guide students seeking international education experience and life in Australia.
Why did we start DRUK ECPF
There are thousands of programs on offer across the globe. However, in this age of information overload, the task of finding a suitable program/institution that suits one’s need and aspiration can be overwhelming and time-consuming for many. Druk ECPF was established with the objective of providing simple, one-stop solution to Bhutanese students, parents and sponsors seeking information and guidance on the following:

- choice of institutions/universities
- career pathways
- overseas student health cover (OSHC)
- visa advice
- student accommodation and cost of living
- industry experience and part-time work
Druk ECPF will act on behalf of its students and provide counseling on course and institution selection, support application process, seek placement offers, assist visa application, support in finding accommodation, prepare student departure, make logistical arrangement, and ensure smooth integration into the new environment in Australia.
