We serve as a bridge between our students and the educational institutions. Based on our knowledge of the international educational landscape and our own experiences of studying and living abroad, we are able to match students with institutions that are most suited for them by carefully studying the students’ educational needs, career aspirations, academic and English language competence, and financial capacity. We closely liaise with the institutions and universities in all the admission processes. We offer the following services.

CAREER COUNSELING

We provide free career counseling to our students. Our experienced counselors sit down with you and listen to your education and career aspirations. After careful assessment of institutions’ entry requirements and students’ eligibility, we lay down realistic educational options, in terms of the choice of study programs and institutions that best suit the students’ needs. Through this two-way in-depth consultation, we not only learn about your higher education dreams, but assess your skill sets to guide you better and put you on the right track for success.

ADMISSION

Once the students decide on their course and institution preference, we explain to our students the documentation requirements, help prepare documents, support filling up institution admission forms, and ensure timely submission so that students get enough visa and mobilization time. Depending on a student’s past academic performance, we assist with securing scholarships, wherever admissible. Our counselors then follow up on your offer letters and update you at intervals on the progress of your admission.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE (SOP)

Statement of purpose (SOP) is a critical document required to obtain a student’s admission at an institution or university. The university admissions team assess SOPs thoroughly before an offer is made to the student. Our counselors can guide you to prepare a strong SOP or even help you with writing one. These services will be chargeable, depending on the degree of support you require from us.

OVERSEAS STUDENT HEALTH COVER (OSHC)

Every international student and their dependents require health insurance called the Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) before they apply for their visa. We are authorized offshore partner of Bupa Australia and we can obtain Bupa OSHC for students and their dependents instantly, making the process hassle free, greatly reducing waiting time and enabling faster submission of visa application.

STUDENT VISA

After students pay their fees and we secure the Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) from the institutions, our in-house experts guide students with their visa application. Knowing the visa regulations, application processes, and required documentary evidence makes the visa application experience less stressful. Our counselors can explain the visa procedures and advice you to submit relevant documents in the correct format and order, increasing your opportunity for visa grant .

Pre-departure Briefing (PDB)

We offer free Pre-departure Briefing (PDB) for our students. At the PDB sessions, which may be individual or in groups, we provide you with the most current information about your study destination. Topics covered range from preparing for your travel, including transit information, biosafety and quarantine regulations, about the city and university, accommodation, settling down and cultural adjustments, study and academic life, part-time work opportunities, OSHC entitlements, and your visa obligations as a student or a temporary resident. This process ensures that we prepare our students for life in a new environment so that they hit the ground running.

ACCOMMODATION

Finding suitable and affordable accommodation can be one of the biggest challenges that our students face on arrival. To help students, we provide them with information on various accommodation options, available on-campus or in the city. In addition, as a welfare support, we can put you in contact with Bhutanese diaspora for additional help that you may need to find temporary or long-term accommodation arrangements. Evidence of confirmed accommodation can support your visa application, particularly if you are travelling with your family.

TRAVEL ARRANGEMENT

We assist our students in making their travel arrangement through our partner travel companies. We help you with getting flight tickets on the most direct route to your study destinations at competitive rate. We provide information about airline baggage allowance, travel insurance to cover damage or loss of personal belonging, including loss of passport. Our counselors can provide you transit information and arrange reception and airport pick-up services, if required (at nominal fee).
